It has been decided to establish an Organized Industry Zone in Antalya with the Written Decree of the Board of Ministers dated 09.06.1976 and number 7/12106, with the initiative of Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1976. Antalya Organized Industry Zone, which has been established on an area of 370 ha (3.700.000 m2) with the written decree of the Board of Ministers dared 16.08.1977 and number 7/12742, has been first reduced to an area of 60 Ha (600.000 m2) with the Written Decree of the Board of Ministers dated 27.03.1983 and number 6912 with the claim that the choice of place had been made wrongly; it has again reached its size of 370 Ha. (3.700.000 m2) with the Written Decree of the Board of Ministers dated 12.11.1998 and number 12026 in 1988.
The area was enlarged to 3.837.002 m2 when the individual fields inside the reconstruction plan approved on the date of 12.03.1980 were purchased.
Antalya Organized Industry Zone is a Private Law Legal personality that is entitled to expropriate or have expropriated on behalf of itself with the Organized Industry Zone Law dated 15.04.2000 and number 4562.
